If you’ve followed me for a while, you know Mega Uranium (TSX: MGA) is one of my favorite uranium plays. So we took a fresh look at what it actually owns, and what the market is paying for it.
What Mega owns
Mega is a holding company, and on its listed holdings alone it’s worth about C$247M, or C$0.64 a share. Almost all of it, 91%, is one stake: 19.5 million shares of NexGen Energy, the Athabasca developer behind Rook I. The rest is mostly IsoEnergy, which picked up Mega’s Toro shares in June, plus small positions in ATHA and Premier American Uranium.
That number counts nothing for Mega’s exploration projects, cash or royalties.
